I agree with the opinion that human is in danger of making itself extinct.

I have two reasons to support my opinion.

First, because of environmental damages caused by civilizations, our living conditions will rather get worse in the future. According to one study, human civilizations are responsible for the destruction of nearly 50% of the world’s trees. This is one of the main causes of the loss of biodiversity. Researchers are warning people that the loss of biodiversity will eventually lead to a lack of food and a loss of habitats for humankind, causing millions of deaths.

Second viewpoint is the development of weapons for military purposes. For example, countries like the United States and Russia have developed nuclear weapons, and the amount is estimated to increase in the future. Also, many nations are nowadays developing robots for military by using artificial intelligence, and some argue that they will kill a lot of people in second. Once human loses control of them, the result would be disastrous.

From these two viewpoints, I believe that the human race is in danger of making itself extinct. (185 words)
