英検1級2次試験:Is enough being done to deal with the problem of antibiotic drug resistance?

Is enough being done to deal with the problem of antibiotic drug resistance?

(抗生物質の薬剤耐性問題への対策は十分か?)

I agree with the statement from two perspectives.

First, experts are making more efforts to deal with the problem compared with the past. For example, when I saw a doctor, I heard from him that recently he had been trying not to prescribe medication for patients as much as possible. Also, he never fails to explain the negative effects of drugs and answer for my questions so clearly. In addition, researchers working at pharmaceutical companies are doing their best to invent medicine that can deal with the problem.

Second, individuals are nowadays doing pretty well to keep their health conditions good. According to recent data, the number of people who have the membership of sports gyms has been increasing for about 10 years. Also, there are games like “Ring Fit Adventure” that enable us to exercise regularly and enjoyably. Because of these trends, it is said that more people have higher immunity, and less people need to rely on antibiotics.

In conclusion, I believe that enough is being done to deal with the problem of antibiotic drug resistance. (178 words)
