I’m of the opinion that the strengths of multicultural societies outweigh the weaknesses.

To explain my opinion, I have two reasons.

First, multicultural societies often allow us to broaden our horizons. For example, as the society becomes more multicultural, then we have more opportunities to communicate with people with different backgrounds. This kind of experience brings new ideas, leading to higher critical thinking ability and creativity. According to some researches, people with these skills are more likely to be successful in our society.

Second, it will lead to higher language ability for citizens. It is often the case that employees can’t obtain jobs from international companies due to language barriers. However, in the multicultural societies, people inevitably have more chances to communicate with others in different languages. As a result, companies in Japan will be more likely to successfully compete with international businesses, leading to higher revenue and better economic conditions.

From these two reasons, I believe that the strengths of multicultural societies outweigh the weaknesses. (166 words)
