試験まで残り21日
丁度3週間前ですね。
I’m against the view that there will be a world without religious conflict.
I have two reasons to support my opinion.
First, it’s very difficult for us to change other people’s value regarding religion. Historically, religion has played a vital role in alleviating mental suffering. It has given people hope and confidence even during tough times. Also, it has offered people a set of moral values. Considering these, if someone tries to change the ways of thinking about it of others, then it makes sense for others to fight against that person.
Second, it’s very difficult for the United Nations to prevent warfare or conflicts from happening. United Nations doesn’t have organizations like police that patrol actions of member countries. Also, it doesn’t have a capability to stop so-called “war to self-defense”. Therefore, for example, once an organization tries to attack others, and they fight against it, United Nations has no choice but to passively observe their actions.
From these two perspectives, I don’t believe that there will be a world without religious conflict in the future. (177 words)
