I’m of the opinion that the values of young people are different from older generations.

I think that these are different from mainly two perspectives.

First, passion for their works is very different each other. As for the older generation, it’s common for them to devote themselves to working at one company for a long time. For example, according to one survey, about 30 years ago, more than 80% of employees worked more than 100 hours of overtime per month. On the other hand, younger generation tends to prioritize their private lives, rather than focusing on their works.

The second perspective is the ways of thinking about money and luxury things. For the most part of older generation, possessing a lot of money or luxury things like expensive cars is one of the statuses for them. But as time goes by, it’s becoming easier for us to feel happiness without possessing these things. As a result, younger generation tends to put less emphasis on money or things.

From these two perspectives, I believe that the values of young people are totally different from older generation. (185 words)
