I’m of the opinion that nanotechnology will have a major impact on our daily lives in the future.

I have two reasons to support my opinion.

First, this technology will achieve a breakthrough on medical issues. In particular, it is said that it’ll greatly contribute to cure cancer. Currently, it’s sometimes very difficult to directly remove cancer cells from patient’s body because there are risks on injuring other important organs or tissues. However, thanks to nanotechnology, doctors will be able to turn cancer cells into non-hazardous substances, saving countless lives.

Second, it has positive effect on the environment. Recent data show that in 2020, around 30% of the world population still don’t have an access to clean drinking water, and around 2 million people lose their lives every year. But it is shown that by using nanoparticles, we can purify a great amount of polluted water. It will also save countless lives of endangered species, contributing to protect biodiversity.

From these two reasons, I believe that nanotechnology will have a major impact on our lives in the future. (178 words)
